நாங்கள் பயணத்தை யூனிவர்சல் பஸ் முலம் தொடர்ந்து எர்ணாகுளம் வந்தடைந்தோம். 10 மணி பயணம் என்றாலும் பஸ்சில் படுக்கை வசதி இருந்த காரணத்தால் அது ஒரு இனிய பயணாமாகவே இருந்தது.
கொச்சியை அடைந்தவுடன் முதலில் பழங்கால அருங்காட்சியகத்திற்குச் சென்றோம். அங்கு பிராந்தியத்தின் வரலாறு மற்றும் மரபுகளைக் காண்பிக்கும் கண்கவர் கண்காட்சிகளைக் கண்டோம்.
இருப்பினும், எங்கள் பயணத்தின் மறக்க முடியாத அனுபவம் சந்தேகத்திற்கு இடமின்றி கொச்சின் உப்பங்கழிகளில் அமைதியான படகு சவாரி ஆகும். அமைதியான நீரில் நாங்கள் படகு பயணம் சென்ற பொழுது, சீன வலை மீன்பிடித்தல் மற்றும் பசுமையான சதுப்புநிலக் காடுகளின் மயக்கும் காட்சிகள் எங்களுக்கு விருந்தளித்தன. கேரளாவின் இயற்கை அழகைக் கண்டு பிரமித்துப் போன அனுபவம் அது.

Our recent travel took us to the enchanting city of Cochin, also known as Ernakulam. Despite our initial plans to travel by train, we faced challenges with booking confirmation due to limited availability in 2 Tier AC. This experience taught us a valuable lesson for future travels: opting for 3 Tier AC or Sleeper berths with higher chances of confirmation.
Instead, we embraced an alternative mode of travel with Universal bus services from Tanjavour to Ernakulam. The 10-hour journey proved surprisingly comfortable, thanks to the availability of sleeper and semi-sleeper options.
Upon our arrival in Ernakulam, we embarked on a captivating exploration of the city’s rich cultural heritage. Among the many highlights was a visit to the Antique Museum, where we were transported back in time through fascinating exhibits showcasing the region’s history and traditions.
Yet, the most memorable experience of our trip was undoubtedly the serene boat ride through the backwaters of Cochin. As we glided along the tranquil waters, we were treated to mesmerizing views of Chinese net fishing and lush mangrove forests. It was a truly immersive experience that left us in awe of Kerala’s natural beauty.
