ஜகார்த்தாவிலிருந்து பாண்டுங் வரை, சீனாவுக்கு அடுத்தபடியாக உலகளவில் இரண்டாவது அதிவேக ரயிலை நாங்கள் தேர்வு செய்தோம். ஒரு அதிர்வு கூட இல்லாமல் மணிக்கு 350 கி.மீ வேகத்தில் பயணித்தது, கண்ணாடி பாலத்திற்காக வயநாட்டில் எனது ஜீப் சாகசத்திற்கு முற்றிலும் மாறுபட்டது.

In recent weeks, my time has been filled with travels, exploring new places that I am delighted to share with you.

Let me begin by recounting our group dinner party at Joy Restaurant in Thiruvarur. You might question the choice of traveling all the way to Thiruvarur for dinner, but for us, it was a delightful blend of travel and communal celebration, enjoying the company of fellow families over a delectable spread of Arab, Indian, and Chinese dishes.

Next on my itinerary was a trip to Krishnagiri to select granite for our Grand Mosque. The challenge arose when the maximum width of the granite was 3.25 feet, whereas we needed 4 feet for each row. The solution lay in opting for marble, as it met the required width.

A visit to Calicut Airport followed, where I received a family member, leading to an excursion to Vayanadu, situated 60 km from Calicut. For those contemplating a visit to the Glass Bridge in Vayanadu, be warned—the journey involves a challenging off-road route by Jeep. While the Glass Bridge may not be as extensive as expected, the rough road is an adventure in itself.

My journey then took me to Indonesia, combining an IT conference with New Year celebrations. The travel route involved Scoot Airways from Trichy to Jakarta, with a brief layover in Singapore. The ticket cost was Rs. 30,000, complemented by reasonable hotel rates in South Jakarta. The total travel time amounted to 8 hours, and Indian travelers can obtain a visa on arrival for $35 per person.

From Jakarta to Bandung, we opted for the fastest train, the second-fastest globally after China. Cruising at 350 km per hour without a single jolt, it was a stark contrast to my Jeep adventure in Vayanadu for the Glass Bridge.

I share these experiences to shed light on potential destinations for fellow members planning their next vacation.
